Questions guests ask before booking

Answered by the host; the same facts Chucho uses.

Is the pool fenced?

No. The pool is not fenced, although the backyard is fenced.

Who manages the stay after booking?

The homeowner manages on-the-ground operations and guest communication after booking confirmation through the Elite program.

What is the cancellation policy?

Unless otherwise stated, payments are non-refundable. If you cancel, Marquis will use best efforts to work with the owner to reopen the dates, at the owner's discretion. If the original dates are rebooked at the same or a higher price, a refund less a penalty of 20% of the total reservation amount is issued after full payment for the replacement reservation is collected. If no replacement reservation is made, you may use the original dates provided payments comply with the agreed schedule and Marquis receives written notice at least 72 hours before the reservation starts.

How are balance payments handled?

Credit-card balance payments are capped at $3,500. Payments over $3,500 must be made by check, ACH or wire.

Is damage protection provided?

In lieu of a security deposit, the property includes up to $25,000 in damage protection. Coverage details are provided in the booking agreement.
