House rules

Reservations require approval before confirmation. Maximum occupancy is six. The primary renter must be at least 30 years old. Additional guests and events are prohibited without express approval. Events, commercial activities and other non-traditional uses, including rotating groups during a stay, require prior written host approval and may incur additional fees and/or an increased security deposit. Smoking is not allowed. Pets require owner approval; the dog approval fee is $200 per dog per booking, and additional fees and/or a security deposit may apply. Utilities are included, but guests are responsible for excessive usage, defined as utility costs over $85.00 per night of the reservation. For stays longer than seven nights, one cleaning per week is mandatory at the guest's expense. A refundable cash security deposit of $2,500 is required, governed by a separate agreement signed by owner and guest before check-in. The owner may show the property to prospective renters or buyers, with efforts to provide advance notice and schedule reasonable daytime hours. Payments are non-refundable unless otherwise stated. Following cancellation, rebooking efforts depend on the owner's decision to reopen the dates. If the original dates are rebooked at the same or a higher price and full payment is collected, a refund less a penalty of 20% of the original total reservation amount is issued. If no new reservation is made, guests may use their original dates provided scheduled payments are complete and Marquis is notified in writing at least 72 hours before the reservation starts. Credit-card balance payments are capped at $3,500; larger payments must be made by check, ACH or wire.

Getting there

Not handicap accessible. Not suitable for children aged four and under. Indian Wells is a nearby beach; area beaches are minutes away. Parking accommodates five cars in the driveway. Outside Memorial Day to Labor Day, inquire before booking about outdoor furniture and equipment availability; seasonal cleaning and updates typically occur in late April or early May.
