House rules

The primary renter must be at least 30 years old. Smoking is not allowed. Additional persons and events are prohibited without express approval. Events, commercial activities, other non-traditional uses and rotating guest groups require prior written host approval; additional fees and/or an increased security deposit may apply. Pets may be allowed only with owner approval; inquire in advance. Approval may involve additional fees and/or a security deposit. Utility fees are included, but guests are responsible for excessive usage, defined as utility costs over $150.00 per reservation night. For stays longer than seven nights, one cleaning per week is mandatory at the guest's expense. For stays outside Memorial Day to Labor Day, inquire before booking about pool use and outdoor furniture or equipment availability. Spring cleaning and updates typically take place in late April or early May. Reservations require approval before confirmation. In lieu of a security deposit, the property has up to $25,000 of accidental damage protection, with coverage details in the booking agreement. Special-use and pet approvals may carry separate deposit requirements. The owner may show the property to prospective renters or buyers, with advance notice and efforts to arrange reasonable daytime hours.

Getting there

The home is on a flag lot behind the high school in Sag Harbor. Nearby beaches include Sag Harbor Village and Long Beach. Bicycles are provided for riding into town. The property is not suitable for unrelated guests and is not handicap accessible.
