House rules
All hotel rooms are non-smoking. The room is available from 15:00 on arrival day and until 11:00 on departure day. The reception is not staffed continuously; a self-check-in kiosk is available. Please contact the hotel if arriving after 20:00. A baby cot is available for CHF 25 per night. Extra beds depend on the room and may incur a charge shown in the booking tool. Sauna, experience shower and cold bath at partner Hotel Säntis are available with advance notice and subject to availability for CHF 25 per person.
Getting there
Hotel Hecht is at the entrance to Appenzell's pedestrian zone. Guests may stop briefly outside to load or unload luggage, then use reserved parking at Hotel Säntis or public parking. Hotel Säntis is about 2–3 minutes on foot from Hotel Hecht; Appenzell station is about a 5-minute walk away.
