The hotel

Hotel Hecht offers individual rooms and suites, including Panorama Junior Suite, Family Suite, Classic Double Room, Basic Double Room and Single Room. The Panorama Junior Suite has a balcony with views toward the Hoher Kasten and Alpstein and an optional sofa bed; it is described as bookable from March to November. Breakfast is included with room prices. The hotel is a traditional Appenzell house, so room layouts, sizes and furnishings vary, and specific rooms cannot be reserved. The hotel is operated as a hotel garni; dining is available at partner Hotel Säntis.
