When can I check in and check out?
Check-in is from 15:00 and check-out is by 11:00.
Can I arrive late in the evening?
A self-check-in kiosk is available at Hotel Hecht until 23:00. For arrivals later than 20:00, contact the hotel so preparations can be made. For arrivals after 23:00, a key is left in a prepared envelope.
Where can I park?
Hotel parking is at Hotel Säntis and is shared with guests of all three hotels. Outdoor parking costs CHF 12 per night; the garage costs CHF 18 per night, including a space with an EV charging station (electricity not included). Reserve hotel parking in advance. Public paid parking is also available in Appenzell.
How do I reach Hotel Hecht by car?
Hotel Hecht is in the pedestrian zone. You may stop briefly outside to load or unload luggage, then park at reserved hotel parking by Hotel Säntis or at public parking areas such as Ziel or Brauereiplatz.
Is breakfast included?
Yes. Breakfast is included in room prices and is served in the hotel's own breakfast room.
