Listing description
The homestead retains intricate ceilings, ornate cornicing and generous period proportions. The main living room has leather Chesterfield seating, while a second living area at the rear has a wood fire. The fireplace in the first living room is not operational. A modern kitchen with generous bench space connects to the formal dining room through a traditional servery hutch. Kitchen facilities include a microwave and coffee maker.
Wraparound verandahs provide outdoor dining and relaxation spaces overlooking established gardens and open lawns. Guests have a private tennis court and should bring their own rackets. Horses may be seen grazing beyond the garden fence. All equestrian areas are private and off limits; guests must remain within the fenced garden areas.
Five bedrooms contain one king bed, one queen bed and three double beds. The primary bedroom has a pressed tin ceiling and vanity area. The bedrooms share one bathroom with a combined bath and shower. A washing machine, dryer, hair dryer, iron, television, heating, air conditioning and Wi-Fi are available.
