House rules

Reservations require approval before confirmation. The primary renter must be at least 25 years old. No guests beyond the maximum occupancy of six are permitted. Smoking is not allowed. Events are prohibited. Event-related reservations, commercial activities and other non-traditional uses, including rotating guest groups, require prior written approval and may incur additional fees or an increased security deposit. One dog weighing 25 lbs or less is allowed for an additional $200.00 per booking. Larger dogs, multiple dogs and other pets require express approval. Utility fees are included, but guests are responsible for excessive usage, defined as utility costs over $95.00 per night of the reservation. One end-of-stay cleaning is included. For stays longer than seven nights, one cleaning per week is mandatory at the guest's expense. Payments are non-refundable unless otherwise stated. If cancellation dates are reopened at the owner's discretion and rebooked at the same or a higher price, a refund less a penalty of 20% of the total reservation amount is issued after full payment for the replacement reservation is collected. If the property is not rebooked, guests may use their original dates provided payments follow the agreed schedule and Marquis receives written notice at least 72 hours before arrival. In lieu of a security deposit, the property has up to $25,000 in damage protection; coverage details are in the booking agreement. The owner may show the property to prospective renters or buyers, with advance notice and efforts to schedule reasonable daytime hours.

Getting there

Not handicap accessible and not suitable for multiple families. Outside Memorial Day to Labor Day, inquire before booking about outdoor furniture and equipment availability; spring cleaning and updates typically occur in late April or early May.
