A handy marquee awning means eating al fresco is always an option, even during one of our excitingly unpredictable British summers. The bedrooms are contemporary in design, illuminated by big windows and cheerful strokes of colour. We know those longer vacations can test family relations, which is why the two living rooms offer a welcome choice of relaxing together or separately. And if that doesn't keep the peace, two TVs means double the Netflix.

With the famous Wimbledon tennis grounds just a stone's throw away, there is also the option to get stuck into the action (and the obligatory strawberries and cream) from up close at Centre Court, or from the comfort of home.
