House rules

The primary renter must be at least 30 years old. Smoking is not allowed. Additional guests require express approval. Events are prohibited. Reservations involving events, commercial activities, rotating groups or other non-traditional uses require prior written host approval and may incur additional fees or an increased security deposit. Reservations require approval before confirmation. One dog of 40 lbs or less is permitted for an additional $200.00 per booking. Larger dogs, multiple dogs and other pets require express approval. The additional-fees schedule lists a dogs approval fee of $200 per dog per booking. Utilities are included, but guests are responsible for excessive usage, defined as utility costs over $135.00 per night of the reservation. For stays longer than seven nights, one cleaning per week is mandatory at the guest’s expense. Instead of a security deposit, the property has up to $25,000 of damage protection; coverage details are in the booking agreement. Credit-card balance payments are capped at $3,500; larger payments must be made by check, ACH or wire. The owner may show the property to prospective renters or buyers, with advance notice and efforts to schedule during reasonable daytime hours.

Getting there

The home is not handicap accessible. Nearby beaches include Cooper’s Beach, Flying Point Beach, Halsey Neck Beach, Cryder Beach and Little Plains Beach. Outside Memorial Day to Labor Day, inquire before booking about outdoor furniture and equipment availability; spring cleaning and updates typically occur in late April or early May.
