House rules

The primary renter must be at least 30 years old. No persons beyond the maximum occupancy of eight are permitted. Smoking is not allowed. Events are prohibited. Commercial activities, rotating groups and other non-traditional uses require prior written host approval and may incur additional fees and/or an increased security deposit. Pets require owner approval and may incur fees and/or a security deposit. Utility fees are included, but guests are responsible for excessive usage. For reservations longer than seven nights, one cleaning per week is mandatory at the guest's expense. Outside Memorial Day to Labor Day, inquire before booking about pool, outdoor furniture and equipment availability; spring cleaning and updates typically take place in late April or early May. Payments are non-refundable unless otherwise stated. If canceled dates are reopened at the owner's discretion and rebooked for the original dates at the same or a higher price, a refund less a penalty of 20% of the total reservation amount is issued after full payment for the replacement booking is collected. If no replacement reservation is made, guests may retain their original stay if scheduled payments have been made and Marquis receives written notice at least 72 hours before arrival. In lieu of a security deposit, the property has up to $25,000 in damage protection, subject to the booking agreement. The owner may show the property to prospective renters or buyers, with advance notice and efforts to schedule reasonable daytime showings.

Getting there

Rogers Beach is 0.5 miles away; Roger's Beach, galleries and restaurants are a short walk away. The main house bedrooms are on the second floor; the guest-house bedrooms are on the first/main floor. The property is not suitable for unrelated guests.
