House rules
Reservations require approval before confirmation. The primary renter must be at least 30 years old. Pets and smoking are prohibited. Additional guests and events require express approval. Events, commercial activities and other non-traditional uses, including rotating groups during one stay, require prior written host approval and may incur additional fees or an increased security deposit. Utilities are included, but guests are responsible for excessive usage, defined as utility costs over $250.00 per night of the reservation. For stays longer than seven nights, one cleaning per week is mandatory at the guest's expense. Payments are non-refundable unless otherwise stated. If the owner agrees to reopen cancelled dates and Marquis rebooks the original dates at the same or a higher price, a refund less a 20% penalty on the total reservation amount is issued after full payment for the replacement booking. If no new reservation is made, guests may use their original dates provided payments comply with the agreed schedule and Marquis receives written notice at least 72 hours before the reservation begins. Credit-card balance payments are capped at $3,500; payments over $3,500 must be by check, ACH or wire. In lieu of a security deposit, the property has up to $25,000 in damage protection, subject to the booking agreement. The owner may show the property to prospective renters or buyers, with advance notice and efforts to schedule reasonable daytime hours.
Getting there
Not suitable for unrelated guests. Nearby beaches include Flying Point Beach, W. Scott Cameron Beach and Ocean Road Beach. Outside Memorial Day to Labor Day, inquire before booking about outdoor furniture and equipment availability; spring cleaning and updates typically occur in late April or early May.
Check dates and price before continuing with the host. A check does not reserve your stay. Confirm the terms with the host at staymarquis.com.
