House rules
The primary renter must be at least 30 years old. Maximum occupancy is 10; additional guests are not permitted. Pets and smoking are prohibited. Events are prohibited. Reservations involving events, commercial activities, rotating groups or other non-traditional uses require prior written host approval and may incur additional fees and/or an increased security deposit. Reservations require approval before confirmation. Utility fees are included, but guests are responsible for excessive utility usage, defined as costs over $120.00 per night of the reservation. One end-of-stay cleaning is included. For stays longer than seven nights, one cleaning per week is mandatory at the guest's expense. Credit-card balance payments are capped at $3,500; payments above $3,500 must be made by check, ACH or wire. In lieu of a security deposit, the property has up to $25,000 of damage protection, with coverage details in the booking agreement. The owner may show the property to prospective renters or buyers, with advance notice and efforts to schedule showings during reasonable daytime hours.
Getting there
The home is a short distance from art galleries, restaurants, the beach and the towns of East Hampton, Sag Harbor and Wainscott. Outside Memorial Day to Labor Day, inquire before booking about pool/hot-tub use and availability of outdoor furniture and equipment. Seasonal spring cleaning and updates typically occur in late April or early May.
Check dates and price before continuing with the host. A check does not reserve your stay. Confirm the terms with the host at staymarquis.com.
