The house

The five-bedroom home has open-plan kitchen, dining and living areas, pocket doors opening onto a lanai, indoor and outdoor dining, and a fireplace. A downstairs lounge has a sectional sofa, television and ping pong table. The fully equipped kitchen includes two sinks, a Wolf gas range, Miele dishwasher, stainless steel appliances, marble counters, an island and breakfast bar. Additional equipment includes a microwave, coffee maker, freezer, blender, wine fridge and rice cooker.

The primary suite has a California king Tempur-Pedic bed, ocean-view private lanai, walk-in closet, cable television and an ensuite with a jetted tub, separate shower and double sinks. The junior suite has a queen Tempur-Pedic bed, built-in desk, private ocean-view lanai and ensuite with a jetted tub and separate shower. Two double-bed rooms have desks, bookshelves, televisions and mountain-view lanais, and share a Jack-and-Jill bathroom with a jetted tub.

The fifth bedroom doubles as a media room with a queen sofa bed, a 75-inch television and mountain views; a full bathroom is down the hall from the playroom. A living-room ottoman converts to a twin sleeping space.

Outdoor facilities include the private fenced pool, shaded lounges, a grassy yard, children’s play structure, outdoor shower, beachfront cabana and barbecue area. A private backyard path leads directly to Waialua Beach, with an offshore reef. There is also a dedicated children’s playroom, hot tub, smart and cable televisions, toys, a crib, beach towels, chairs and umbrella.

An adjoining air-conditioned guest cottage is optional for an additional charge. It has a California king loft bedroom, full kitchen, private bathroom, living area with a queen sleeper sofa and twin Murphy bed, washer/dryer and its own beach path. Cottage accommodation is not included in the main-home room inventory.

Monthly rental only; the full-month charge applies regardless of nights stayed. Standard occupancy is eight, with an extra fee for additional guests. A car is necessary. Turtle Bay is a short drive away for golf, spa services, horseback riding and dining.
