House rules

Maximum occupancy is 10; no additional guests are permitted. The primary renter must be at least 25. Pets and smoking are prohibited. Events are prohibited. Reservations involving events, commercial activities, other non-traditional uses or rotating guest groups require prior written host approval; additional fees or an increased security deposit may apply. Utilities are included, but guests are responsible for excessive utility usage, defined as costs over $80.00 per reservation night. For stays longer than seven nights, one cleaning per week is mandatory at the guest's expense. Reservations require approval before confirmation. Unless otherwise stated, payments are non-refundable. If the owner agrees to reopen canceled dates and Marquis rebooks the original dates at the same or a higher price, a refund less a 20% penalty on the total reservation amount is issued after full payment for the replacement reservation. If no replacement reservation is made, guests may use their original dates if payments are current and Marquis is notified in writing at least 72 hours before arrival. Credit-card balance payments are capped at $3,500; larger balance payments must be made by check, ACH or wire. In lieu of a security deposit, the property has up to $25,000 in damage protection, subject to the booking agreement. The owner may arrange showings for prospective renters or buyers, with advance notice and efforts to schedule during reasonable daytime hours.

Getting there

The private dock is currently unavailable for boat use. The property is not handicap accessible. Outside Memorial Day through Labor Day, inquire before booking about outdoor furniture and equipment availability; spring cleaning and updates typically occur in late April or early May.
