House rules

The primary renter must be at least 30 years old. Smoking is not allowed. Additional persons and events are prohibited without express approval. Events, commercial activities, other non-traditional uses and rotating groups of guests require prior written host approval; additional fees and/or an increased security deposit may apply. Pets require owner approval. The dog approval fee is $300 per dog per booking; additional deposit requirements may apply. Utilities are included, but guests are responsible for excessive usage, defined as utility costs over $40.00 per night of the reservation. For stays longer than seven nights, one cleaning per week is mandatory at the guest's expense. Outside Memorial Day through Labor Day, inquire before booking about outdoor furniture and equipment availability. Spring cleaning and updates typically occur in late April or early May. Payments are non-refundable unless otherwise stated. After cancellation, Marquis will use best efforts to work with the owner to reopen the original dates, at the owner's discretion. If those dates are rebooked at the same or a higher price, a refund less a penalty equal to 20% of the total original reservation amount is issued after full payment for the replacement reservation is collected. If no replacement reservation is made, guests may use their original dates if payments follow the booking schedule and Marquis receives written notice at least 72 hours before the reservation starts. Credit-card balance payments are capped at $3,500; payments above $3,500 must be made by check, ACH or wire. In lieu of a security deposit, the property has up to $25,000 in damage protection, subject to the booking agreement.

Getting there

The home is not handicap accessible. Three bedrooms are on the second floor and one is on the main floor. Nearby beaches include East Hampton Main Beach, Wiborg Beach, Egypt Beach and Two Mile Hollow Beach. Fresno and Doppo Buttero are within walking distance.
