House rules

Smoking and pets are prohibited. The primary renter must be at least 30 years old. Additional guests and events require express approval. Events, commercial activities, other non-traditional uses and rotating groups during the same stay require prior written host approval; additional fees and/or an increased security deposit may apply. Utility fees are included, but guests are responsible for excessive utility usage. One end-of-stay cleaning is included. For reservations longer than seven nights, one cleaning per week is mandatory at the guest's expense. Payments are generally non-refundable. If the owner agrees to reopen canceled dates and the property is rebooked for the original dates at the same or higher price, a refund less a penalty of 20% of the total reservation amount is issued after the replacement reservation is paid in full. If no replacement reservation is made, guests may use their original dates provided scheduled payments have been made and Marquis receives written notice at least 72 hours before the reservation starts. In lieu of a security deposit, the property has up to $25,000 of damage protection, subject to the booking agreement. Special-use reservations may still require an increased deposit. The owner may show the property to prospective renters or buyers, with advance notice and efforts to schedule during reasonable daytime hours.

Getting there

Goose Creek Beach is a three-minute walk away. Greenport Village is a five-mile drive. The property is not handicap accessible. The primary renter must be at least 30 years old. Outside Memorial Day to Labor Day, inquire before booking about pool availability and outdoor furniture and equipment; seasonal cleaning and updates typically occur in late April or early May.
