The Pilot House is Nelson's original 1862 Pilot House, architecturally renovated with contemporary furnishings and amenities. Both bedrooms are upstairs and have Queen beds; the front bedroom has views over the water. The downstairs bathroom has a shower, toilet and vanity. The upstairs bathroom has a bath, toilet and vanity. A full laundry is provided.

The Pilot House is a waterfront heritage property on Nelson's Wakefield Quay, directly in front of Nelson's harbour entrance, with views across the water, the island and the boulder bank.
