House rules

The primary renter must be at least 25 years old. Maximum occupancy is 10, with no additional guests permitted. Pets and smoking are prohibited. Events are prohibited; reservations involving events, commercial activities, other non-traditional uses or rotating guest groups require prior written host approval and may incur additional fees and/or an increased security deposit. Reservations require approval before confirmation. Utilities are included, but guests are responsible for excessive usage, defined as utility costs over $135.00 per night of the reservation. One light cleaning per eight nights booked and one end-of-stay cleaning are included; additional requested cleanings are at the guest's expense. Unless otherwise stated, payments are non-refundable. If cancelled dates are reopened at the owner's discretion and rebooked for the original dates at the same or a higher price, a refund less a penalty of 20% of the total reservation amount is issued after full payment for the new reservation is collected. If the property is not rebooked, guests may use their original dates provided payments follow the booking schedule and Marquis receives written notice at least 72 hours before the reservation begins. Credit-card balance payments are capped at $3,500; payments over $3,500 must be made by check, ACH or wire. In lieu of a security deposit, the property has up to $25,000 of damage protection, subject to the booking agreement. The owner may show the property to prospective renters or buyers, with advance notice and efforts to schedule reasonable daytime hours.

Getting there

Town is within walking distance and the beach is 2 miles away. The home is not handicap accessible. Bedrooms are on the second floor, with an additional sleeping area in the third-floor attic. Outside Memorial Day to Labor Day, confirm pool availability and availability of outdoor furniture and equipment before booking; spring cleaning and updates typically occur in late April or early May.
