The house

The raised ground floor has a drawing room with high ceilings, fireplaces, sofas, artwork and a chandelier, opening to a formal dining area and a balcony overlooking the garden. A guest WC is off the hallway. The delicate antique dining table may be used for board and card games; meals are preferred in the downstairs kitchen.

The lower ground floor has a fully equipped kitchen with two ovens, two grills, gas hobs, a dishwasher, fridge, freezer, microwave, kettle, toaster, cookware and tableware. A breakfast table overlooks the private patio garden. The adjoining open-plan sitting area has a TV, and a utility room contains a washer and dryer. There is also a guest WC and garden access. The cellar is private.

The first floor has a street-facing bedroom with a king-sized bed, wardrobe, desk and en-suite shower room with WC. The master suite has a walk-in wardrobe, chest of drawers and an en-suite bathroom with double sinks, a bathtub and walk-in shower. The top floor has two further king-sized bedrooms and a twin room with a trundle arrangement that can be made into a double. One top-floor king bedroom has an en-suite shower room with WC; the family bathroom has double sinks and a shower over the bath. The top-floor study is locked.

The home has central heating, free Wi-Fi, smart TV, towels, bed linen, a hair dryer and ironing equipment. Hyde Park, Kensington Palace and Notting Hill are nearby.

Cots, high chairs, early or late arrival, late departure, airport transfers, welcome packs, mid-stay housekeeping, fresh towels and linens, and extra bedding or pillows can be requested through Veeve, subject to availability. Cot and high-chair hire and check-in between 21:00 and 23:00 carry additional charges.
