The house

The Cove Cottage is an approximately 1,500-square-foot home with a private landscaped yard, outdoor dining, an uncovered patio with furniture and a barbecue. Indoors are a sitting room, enclosed sunroom, living room with a wood-burning fireplace, dining room and separate movie den.

The equipped kitchen includes a stove, oven, refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, blender, cookware, dishes, silverware, an island, and pot and Nespresso coffee makers. Wi-Fi, window-unit air conditioning, heating, a washer and dryer, a main-living-room television, Smart TV and stereo are available. Bed linens, bath and pool/beach towels, a hair dryer and essentials are provided. Smoke and carbon monoxide detectors and a fire extinguisher are present.

All three bedrooms are on the second floor and have air conditioning. The primary and guest bedrooms each have one queen bed and a standard closet; the children's bedroom has one twin bed. There is a full bathroom with a walk-in shower upstairs and a second full bathroom with a shower on the main floor.

Downtown Sag Harbor's restaurants, shops, galleries and farmers' markets are a short drive or leisurely bike ride away. Nearby beaches include Foster Memorial Town Beach, Sagg Main Beach and Ocean Road Beach. Free parking is available. The homeowner manages on-the-ground operations and guest communication after booking confirmation.
