The house

The Barn overlooks an 1880 limestone cottage and sits within extensive gardens. The driveway passes the cottage and leads to the front of the Barn, with free parking for two cars and space for a boat. A verandah and covered outdoor area provide a table and seating, alongside a gas barbecue and garden.

Downstairs are a large living area, dining area, kitchen and bathroom with shower, toilet and vanity. Both bedrooms are upstairs: the main bedroom has a queen bed, and the second has three single beds, two of which can be joined into a queen by prior arrangement. Bed linen and towels are provided.

Facilities include wall-mounted reverse-cycle air conditioning, underfloor hydronic heating, television, wireless internet, an iron and ironing board, and access to a washing machine. The kitchen includes crockery, cutlery, cookware, refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, oven, stove, toaster, pantry basics and an Aldi coffee pod machine. A smoke detector is provided. The property is suitable for children aged 2–12 and infants under two.

The bayside is a short drive away. A 12-minute walk reaches the coastal National Park Walking track, which leads to Dimmicks Beach.
