House rules
No smoking, pets, parties or events. Children aged 2–12 and infants under 2 are welcome. No designated quiet time applies. For bookings longer than seven nights, a mandatory mid-stay clean is scheduled every seven nights, starting on Day 8, and includes fresh linen, light cleaning and rubbish removal. The charge is R910 per clean, separate from the standard cleaning fee, payable in advance through Airbnb’s Resolution Centre and settled before check-in. For stays of 30 days or longer, a monthly electricity top-up of up to R3000 is provided; guests cover usage above this amount.
Getting there
Nearby bars and restaurants may cause noise, especially during peak hours. Nearby construction operates Monday–Saturday, 06:00–18:00. Scheduled power outages occur in South Africa; the EskomSePush app is recommended for schedules. The city centre is compact and walkable, with MyCiTi buses, taxis and ride-hailing options available.
