House rules
Maximum occupancy is seven. The primary renter must be at least 30 years old. Pets and smoking are prohibited. Utility fees are included, but guests are responsible for excessive utility usage, defined as utility costs over $20.00 per reservation night. For stays longer than seven nights, one cleaning per week is mandatory at the guest's expense. Events, commercial activities, other non-traditional uses and rotating guest groups require prior written host approval; additional fees and/or an increased security deposit may apply. The property has up to $25,000 in damage protection in lieu of a security deposit, with coverage details in the booking agreement. The owner may arrange showings to prospective renters or buyers, with advance notice and efforts to schedule reasonable daytime hours. Payments are non-refundable unless otherwise stated. If canceled dates are reopened at the owner's discretion and rebooked at the same or a higher price, a refund less a penalty of 20% of the total reservation amount is issued after full payment for the replacement reservation is collected. If no replacement reservation is made, guests may use their original dates provided scheduled payments are made and Marquis receives written notice at least 72 hours before arrival. Credit-card balance payments are capped at $3,500; larger payments must be made by check, ACH or wire.
Getting there
North Sea Beach is moments away; Shinnecock Hills, Southampton village and Water Mill are minutes away. Reservations require approval before confirmation. Outside Memorial Day to Labor Day, inquire before booking about outdoor furniture and equipment availability; spring cleaning and updates typically take place in late April or early May.
Check dates and price before continuing with the host. A check does not reserve your stay. Confirm the terms with the host at staymarquis.com.
