House rules
Maximum occupancy is 10; no additional guests are permitted. Smoking is not allowed. Events are prohibited. Reservations involving events, commercial activities, other non-traditional uses or rotating groups require prior written host approval; additional fees and/or an increased security deposit may apply. Pets require owner approval and may incur additional fees and/or a security deposit. Utility fees are included, but guests are responsible for excessive utility usage. For stays longer than seven nights, one cleaning per week is mandatory at the guest's expense. Reservation approval is required before confirmation. Unless otherwise stated, payments are non-refundable. If a cancellation occurs, Marquis will attempt to work with the owner to reopen and rebook the dates; reopening is at the owner's discretion. If the same dates are rebooked at the same or a higher price, a refund less a penalty of 20% of the total reservation amount is issued after full payment for the replacement reservation. If no replacement booking is made, guests may use the original dates provided scheduled payments have been made and Marquis is notified in writing at least 72 hours before the reservation starts. In lieu of a security deposit, the property includes up to $25,000 of damage protection, subject to the booking agreement. The owner may show the property to prospective renters or buyers, with efforts to provide advance notice and arrange reasonable daytime hours.
Getting there
Not suitable for unrelated guests. The primary renter must be at least 30 years old. The home has bedrooms on the main and second floors. Inquire before booking outside Memorial Day to Labor Day about availability of outdoor furniture and equipment; seasonal cleaning and updates typically occur in late April or early May.
Check dates and price before continuing with the host. A check does not reserve your stay. Confirm the terms with the host at staymarquis.com.
