House rules
Reservations require approval before confirmation. The primary renter must be at least 30 years old. Maximum occupancy is eight; additional guests and events require express approval. Events, commercial activities and other non-traditional uses, including rotating groups during a stay, require prior written host approval and may incur additional fees and/or an increased security deposit. Smoking is not allowed. Pets require owner approval; the dog approval fee is $150 per dog per booking, and additional fees and/or a security deposit may apply. Utilities are included, but guests are responsible for excessive usage, defined as utility costs over $70.00 per reservation night. One light cleaning per eight nights booked and one end-of-stay cleaning are included; additional cleaning is at guests’ expense. In lieu of a security deposit, the property has up to $25,000 of damage protection, with coverage details in the booking agreement. The owner may need to show the property to prospective renters or buyers, with advance notice and efforts to schedule reasonable daytime hours. Credit-card balance payments are capped at $3,500; payments above $3,500 must be by check, ACH or wire.
Getting there
Cooper’s Beach and Gin Lane Beach are nearby; Southampton village center is a short drive or bike ride away. The home is single-story, with all bedrooms on the main floor. Outdoor furniture and equipment availability should be confirmed before booking outside Memorial Day to Labor Day; spring cleaning and updates typically occur in late April or early May.
Check dates and price before continuing with the host. A check does not reserve your stay. Confirm the terms with the host at staymarquis.com.
