House rules

Maximum occupancy is six; no additional persons are permitted. Smoking is not allowed. Pets require prior owner approval and may incur fees and/or a security deposit. Commercial activities, rotating groups and other non-traditional uses require prior written host approval and may incur additional fees or an increased security deposit. Utility fees are included, but guests are responsible for excessive utility usage. One end-of-stay cleaning is included. For stays longer than seven nights, one cleaning per week is mandatory at the guest's expense. Outside Memorial Day through Labor Day, inquire before booking about outdoor furniture and equipment availability. Spring cleaning and updates typically occur in late April or early May. Reservations require approval before confirmation. Unless otherwise stated, payments are non-refundable. If the owner agrees to reopen canceled dates and Marquis rebooks the original dates at the same or a higher price, a refund less a penalty of 20% of the total reservation amount is issued after full payment for the replacement reservation is collected. If no replacement booking is made, guests may retain their original stay if payments meet the agreed schedule and Marquis receives written notice at least 72 hours before arrival. Credit-card balance payments are capped at $3,500; larger payments must be made by check, ACH or wire. In lieu of a security deposit, the property has up to $25,000 of damage protection, subject to the booking agreement. The owner may arrange showings to prospective renters or buyers with advance notice and efforts to use reasonable daytime hours.

Getting there

Atlantic beaches are a few blocks away on foot. Nearby beaches include Meschutt, Dune and Road D Beaches. Driveway parking accommodates three cars. The home is not suitable for unrelated guests; the primary renter must be at least 30 years old.
