The house

Shelter Island Preserve accommodates up to 10 guests in four bedrooms and an additional sleeping area. The light-filled, open layout connects the living spaces, with multiple sitting areas and a kitchen equipped with a stove, oven, refrigerator and dishwasher. Bed linens, bath towels, central air conditioning, heating, a washer and a dryer are provided.

Three bedrooms are upstairs: one has a king bed, a full ensuite bathroom, TV and closet; two have a double/full bed each, with a closet in Bedroom 3. Bedroom 4 is on the main floor with a queen bed, TV and closet. The additional upstairs sleeping space has a double/full bed. All five sleeping areas have air conditioning. Two full bathrooms with showers are upstairs; the main-floor full bathroom has a shower and tub.

The private grounds include an outdoor heated freshwater pool, six lounge chairs, poolside couches, an uncovered deck/patio, patio furniture with an umbrella, a gas grill and an outdoor shower with hot and cold water. A yard fence, one adult bicycle, four beach chairs, a beach umbrella and a cooler are provided. The home is near Shelter Island's galleries, restaurants, town and beaches, and minutes from the ferry.

The homeowner manages on-the-ground operations and guest communication after booking confirmation. The house is on the market and showings may take place during stays with advance notice.
