The house

The home has double-height ceilings and an open-plan living, dining and kitchen area. Sliding doors connect the dining room to the backyard. A separate sunroom has two sofas and sliding-door access to the wooden sun deck. The updated kitchen includes modern appliances, a coffee maker and cooking essentials. Wi-Fi, air conditioning, heating, a washer and dryer, and a dedicated work-from-home space are available.

Two main-floor bedrooms each have a queen bed. The primary bedroom opens directly onto the sun deck and has an ensuite bathroom with a walk-in shower. A third queen bedroom occupies the upstairs loft. The main-floor hall bathroom also has a walk-in shower. All three bedrooms have air conditioning; the second bedroom has a TV and standard closet. Bed linens, bath towels, pool/beach towels and a hair dryer are provided.

The expansive fenced yard contains a private heated pool with chaise loungers, a pool house for additional lounging, multiple seating areas, outdoor dining, and a fire pit with Adirondack chairs. The deck has an outdoor shower with hot and cold water. Free parking is available. The home is centrally located on Shelter Island near restaurants, shops, bars and beaches. The homeowner manages on-the-ground operations and guest communication after booking confirmation.
