House rules

The primary renter must be at least 30 years old. Smoking is not allowed. Additional guests and events require express approval. Events, commercial activities and other non-traditional uses, including rotating groups during one stay, require prior written host approval and may incur additional fees and/or an increased security deposit. Pets require owner approval. The dog approval fee is $150 per dog per booking; additional fees and/or a security deposit may apply. Utilities are included, but guests are responsible for excessive usage, defined as utility costs over $115.00 per night of the reservation. One end-of-stay cleaning is included. For reservations longer than seven nights, one cleaning per week is mandatory at the guest's expense. Payments are non-refundable unless otherwise stated. Following cancellation, Marquis will attempt to arrange reopening and rebooking with the owner's agreement. If the original dates are rebooked at the same or a higher price, a refund less a penalty of 20% of the total reservation amount is issued after full payment for the replacement reservation. If the property is not rebooked, the original stay may still be used if payments are current and Marquis receives written notice at least 72 hours before arrival. Balance payments by credit card are capped at $3,500; amounts over $3,500 must be paid by check, ACH or wire. In lieu of a security deposit, the property includes up to $25,000 of damage protection, subject to the booking agreement's coverage details. The owner may arrange showings to prospective renters or buyers, with advance notice and efforts to schedule reasonable daytime hours.

Getting there

The property is not handicap accessible. Nearby beaches include Flying Point Beach, W. Scott Cameron Beach and Ocean Road Beach. Outside Memorial Day to Labor Day, inquire before booking about outdoor furniture and equipment availability; seasonal cleaning and updates typically occur in late April or early May.
