The house

This 2,500-square-foot home has an upside-down layout, with the great room upstairs and a den downstairs. Trees and mature hedges surround the grounds. The upper-level great room has a vaulted, exposed-beam ceiling and sliding doors opening onto a balcony overlooking the front yard. A six-person dining table stands beside the great room. The lower-level den has a sectional couch, flat-screen television and an extra sink, and opens to the backyard deck.

Outside are lawns, an uncovered deck and patio, a gas grill, an eight-person outdoor dining table, patio furniture with an umbrella, four lounge chairs and four beach chairs. A hot-and-cold outdoor shower is available. The private outdoor freshwater gunite pool is heated, fenced and described as 20 by 40. The backyard itself is not fenced. Bed linens, bath towels, pool/beach towels, heating, hot water, a private entrance, smoke and carbon monoxide detectors, and a fire extinguisher are provided.

Bedroom 1 is upstairs with a king bed, air conditioning, a full ensuite bathroom with shower, television and closet. Bedrooms 2 and 3 are upstairs, each with two twin/single beds, air conditioning and a closet. Bedroom 4 is on the first/main floor with a queen bed, air conditioning and closet. Bedroom 5 is on the first/main floor with two twin/single beds and a closet. The other two full bathrooms have shower/tub combinations, one upstairs and one on the first/main floor.

The home is a block from the beach and close to Sagg Pond and Atlantic Ocean beaches. Sagg Pond offers opportunities to launch kayaks and paddleboards. Bridgehampton golf courses and restaurants are minutes away, and the Hampton Classic Horse Show is nearby. The homeowner handles on-the-ground operations and guest communication after booking confirmation.
