The house

Sand & Sea Beach House accommodates up to 10 guests in a quiet residential beachside area, with a northeast-facing outlook and native reserve views. Four bedrooms are upstairs: a king master bedroom with an ensuite containing a bath, shower and toilet; two bedrooms each with two king single beds; and a queen bedroom. Upstairs also has a main bathroom and a separate toilet. The ground floor has a fifth bedroom with a queen bed, a bathroom, a separate toilet/powder room, a media room, a full laundry and a double lock-up garage.

The ground-floor open-plan kitchen, dining and lounge overlook a covered patio, the pool and the reserve. The galley kitchen has stone benchtops, a breakfast bar, a six-burner gas stovetop, a large oven, a dishwasher and a Nespresso pod coffee machine. A separate TV/media room provides space for television and board games, and there is a table tennis area upstairs. The TV lounge has a 55-inch Smart TV, and the main lounge has a 42-inch Smart TV, both suitable for guests' own Netflix accounts. DVDs and board games are available.

Reverse-cycle air conditioning is in the media lounge, with ceiling fans throughout. Wi-Fi, a front-loading washer and dryer, a Weber-style barbecue, outdoor seating, a beach umbrella, a surfboard, a boogieboard and beach toys are provided. The yard is fully fenced, and dogs are accepted on application subject to restrictions and a fee. The private inground pool has solar heating, but a swimmable temperature is not guaranteed, particularly in winter. Household linen and a standard departure clean are included.

The beach is a 250 m walk away, and Marcoola patrolled beach and surf club are 500 m away. Local cafes are within easy walking distance. Mount Coolum is 2 km away; Twin Waters and Mount Coolum golf clubs and the Mount Coolum shopping centre are a short drive away.
