House rules

The primary renter must be at least 30 years old. No additional persons beyond the maximum occupancy of six are permitted. Pets and smoking are prohibited. Events are prohibited; events, commercial activities, other non-traditional uses and rotating groups require prior written host approval and may incur additional fees or an increased security deposit. Utility fees are included, but guests are responsible for excessive utility usage. One end-of-stay cleaning is included. For reservations longer than seven nights, one cleaning per week is mandatory at the guest’s expense. Reservations require approval before confirmation. Payments are non-refundable unless otherwise stated. Following cancellation, Marquis may work with the owner to reopen the dates. If the original dates are rebooked at the same or a higher price, a refund less a 20% penalty on the total reservation amount is issued after full payment for the new reservation. If the dates are not rebooked, guests may use the original reservation provided payments meet the agreed schedule and Marquis receives written notice at least 72 hours before arrival. Credit-card balance payments are capped at $3,500; payments above $3,500 must be by check, ACH or wire. The owner may arrange showings to prospective renters or buyers, with advance notice and efforts to schedule them during reasonable daytime hours.

Getting there

The home is beachfront and waterfront, with a dedicated owners’ beach cabana. The home is not handicap accessible. Outside Memorial Day to Labor Day, inquire before booking about hot tub availability and outdoor furniture and equipment. Spring cleaning and updates typically take place in late April or early May.
