House rules

Reservations require approval before confirmation. Maximum occupancy is 10; additional guests require express approval. Smoking is not allowed. Events require express approval. Events, commercial activities, other non-traditional uses and rotating guest groups require prior written host approval and may incur additional fees and/or an increased security deposit. Utility fees are included, but guests are responsible for excessive usage, defined as utility costs over $150.00 per night of the reservation. For stays longer than seven nights, one cleaning per week is mandatory at the guest's expense. A refundable cash security deposit of $5,000 is required, with payment and administration governed by a separate agreement signed by owner and guest before check-in. Unless otherwise stated, payments are non-refundable. Following cancellation, Marquis will use best efforts to work with the owner to reopen and rebook the original dates; reopening is at the owner's discretion. If the original dates are rebooked at the same or a higher price, a refund less a penalty of 20% of the original total reservation amount is issued after full payment for the new reservation. If no new reservation is made, guests may use their original dates provided scheduled payments are made and Marquis receives written notice at least 72 hours before the reservation begins. Credit-card balance payments are capped at $3,500; payments above $3,500 must be by check, ACH or wire. The owner may show the property to prospective renters or buyers, with advance notice and efforts to schedule during reasonable daytime hours.

Getting there

Nearby beaches include Foster Memorial Town Beach, Sagg Main Beach and Ocean Road Beach. The primary renter must be at least 35 years old. Outside Memorial Day to Labor Day, inquire before booking about pool availability and outdoor furniture and equipment; spring cleaning and updates typically occur in late April or early May.
