House rules

The primary renter must be at least 30 years old. Smoking is not allowed. Additional guests and events are prohibited without express approval. Events, commercial activities and other non-traditional uses, including rotating groups during one stay, require prior written host approval and may incur additional fees and/or an increased security deposit. Pets require owner approval and may incur fees and/or a security deposit. Utilities are included, but guests are responsible for excessive usage, defined as utility costs over $128.00 per reservation night. One end-of-stay cleaning is included. For stays longer than seven nights, one cleaning per week is mandatory at the guest's expense. Unless otherwise stated, payments are non-refundable. If a guest cancels, Marquis will use best efforts to work with the owner to reopen and rebook the dates; reopening is the owner's decision. If the original dates are rebooked at the same or a higher price, a refund less a penalty of 20% of the total reservation amount is issued after full payment for the replacement reservation is collected. If no replacement reservation is made, guests may use their original dates provided scheduled payments have been made and Marquis receives written notice at least 72 hours before the reservation begins. In lieu of a security deposit, the property has up to $25,000 in damage protection, with coverage details in the booking agreement. The owner may show the property to prospective renters or buyers, with advance notice and efforts to schedule reasonable daytime hours.

Getting there

Beaches are a short stroll away. Nearby beaches include Coopers Beach, Flying Point Beach and Meschutt Beach. The home is not handicap accessible. Outside Memorial Day to Labor Day, inquire before booking about outdoor furniture and equipment availability; spring cleaning and updates typically take place in late April or early May.
