Events of any size, commercial activities, other non-traditional uses and rotating guest groups require prior written host approval; additional fees and/or an increased security deposit may apply. If cancellation dates are reopened at the owner’s discretion and successfully rebooked for the original dates at the same or a higher price, a refund less a penalty of 20% of the total reservation amount is issued after full payment for the replacement reservation is collected. If no replacement reservation is made, the original dates may still be used if payments meet the agreed schedule and Marquis receives written notice at least 72 hours before the reservation starts. Credit-card balance payments are capped at $3,500; payments above $3,500 must be made by check, ACH or wire. Outside Memorial Day through Labor Day, inquire before booking about pool, hot-tub, outdoor furniture and equipment availability.
