House rules
The primary renter must be at least 25 years old. No persons beyond the maximum occupancy of five are permitted. Smoking is not allowed. Events are prohibited; any proposed event, commercial activity, other non-traditional use or rotating guest groups requires prior written host approval and may incur additional fees or an increased security deposit. Reservations require approval before confirmation. Utility fees are included, but guests are responsible for excessive usage, defined as utility costs over $45.00 per reservation night. One end-of-stay cleaning is included. For stays longer than seven nights, one cleaning per week is mandatory at the guest's expense. Payments are non-refundable unless otherwise stated. If the owner agrees to reopen canceled dates and they are rebooked for the original dates at the same or a higher price, a refund less a penalty of 20% of the total reservation amount is issued after full payment for the replacement booking. If no replacement booking is made, guests may still use their original dates if payments follow the agreed schedule and Marquis receives written notice at least 72 hours before arrival. Credit-card balance payments are capped at $3,500; payments above $3,500 must be by check, ACH or wire. In lieu of a security deposit, the property has up to $25,000 of damage protection, with coverage details in the booking agreement.
Getting there
Long Beach is a short distance away; Foster Memorial Town Beach is nearby. The home is not wheelchair accessible. Outside Memorial Day through Labor Day, ask before booking whether outdoor furniture and equipment will be available. Spring cleaning and updates typically take place in late April or early May. The owner may show the property to prospective renters or buyers, with efforts to provide advance notice and schedule reasonable daytime visits.
Check dates and price before continuing with the host. A check does not reserve your stay. Confirm the terms with the host at staymarquis.com.
