House rules

The primary renter must be at least 30 years old. No additional people beyond the maximum occupancy of six are permitted. Smoking is not allowed. Events are prohibited. Reservations involving events, commercial activities, rotating guest groups or other non-traditional uses require prior written host approval and may incur additional fees or an increased security deposit. Reservations require approval before confirmation. Utility fees are included, but guests are responsible for excessive usage, defined as utility costs over $95.00 per night of the reservation. For reservations longer than seven nights, one cleaning per week is mandatory at the guest's expense. Outside Memorial Day to Labor Day, inquire before booking about pool availability and outdoor furniture or equipment. Spring cleaning and updates typically take place in late April or early May. Unless otherwise stated, payments are non-refundable. Following cancellation, Marquis will make best efforts to work with the owner to reopen and rebook the original dates, at the owner's discretion. If the dates are rebooked at the same or a higher price, a refund less a penalty of 20% of the total reservation amount is issued after the replacement reservation is paid in full. If no replacement reservation is made, guests may use their original dates provided payments follow the agreed schedule and Marquis receives written notice at least 72 hours before the reservation begins. Credit-card balance payments are capped at $3,500; payments over $3,500 must be made by check, ACH or wire. In lieu of a security deposit, the property has up to $25,000 of damage protection, subject to the booking agreement. The owner may arrange showings to prospective renters or buyers, with efforts to provide advance notice and schedule reasonable daytime hours.

Getting there

Beaches are five minutes away. The home is not handicap accessible and is not suitable for multiple families or unrelated guests. Bedrooms are on the second floor.
