The house

Designed by William Krisel and built by the Alexander Company, this home accommodates up to 8 guests in a four-bedroom, three-bathroom layout, including a guest bedroom/media room with a sleeper sofa. Downtown Palm Springs is 5 minutes away. Nearby attractions include eateries, boutiques, galleries, museums, architectural and Hollywood-history tours, hiking trails, golf courses and the aerial tramway.

A private landscaped front courtyard leads through glass double doors into the living and dining spaces. Clerestory windows bring in natural light and mountain views. The living area has two velvet curved sofas, two barrel chairs and a television; the indoor dining table seats eight. The well-equipped kitchen has high-end appliances and ample counter space.

Sliding glass doors open to a private backyard with a pool, separate sitting spa, built-in grill, outdoor dining table for six, three-person bar, putting green and firepit. On-site parking and a garage are available. Air conditioning, free Wi-Fi, a washer and dryer, and starter kitchen, laundry and bath essentials are provided.

The primary bedroom has a king bed and an en-suite bathroom with a double vanity and glass shower. The Cactus Room has a king bed, large closet and en-suite bathroom with a glass shower. The Orange Retro Room has a queen bed and large closet. The Safari Room doubles as a media room and has a full sleeper sofa. These last two rooms share the hall bathroom with a shower/tub combination.
