The house

The cabin has mountain views, a private patio or deck, and a spacious living room with a stone fireplace. A fully equipped kitchen includes a microwave, oven and stove, with a separate dining area for shared meals. Heating, television, an ironing board, and in-home washing and drying facilities are available.

Sleeping arrangements include a primary bedroom with a king bed and ensuite bathroom, a queen bedroom, a twin bedroom with two single beds and a TV, and a loft with a king bed. Rooms have linens, towels, pillows and comforters. The maximum occupancy includes two additional guests beyond the standard sleeping arrangements; trifold floor mattresses and additional linens are available on request.

The home has a laptop-friendly workspace, high-speed Wi-Fi, keypad self-check-in, and free parking in the driveway and garage for up to four cars. Outdoor furniture and amenities, including grills, are available seasonally from Memorial Day through Labor Day. Recreation-center access and passes are not included.

Nearby outdoor destinations include Donner Lake, Northstar, Donner Ski Ranch and Tahoe National Forest. Neighboring construction or road works may occur without advance notice, especially in summer.
