The house

The home has two living areas: a TV lounge and a games room with a foosball table, dartboard, bean bags and sporting memorabilia. The fully equipped kitchen includes a butler’s pantry with an additional refrigerator, an electric oven, gas hotplates, a coffee machine and a breakfast bar. A dishwasher, microwave, kettle, toaster, dishes and silverware are also provided.

A large deck, balcony and patio overlook the rural and bushland surroundings. There is an outdoor barbecue that is not connected to the house gas, plus an outdoor shower near the sauna and clothesline. The private sauna is available to guests; the spa is not for guest use.

The first floor has two queen bedrooms with ceiling fans. Bedroom 1 has a built-in wardrobe; Bedroom 2 has a walk-in wardrobe and balcony access. The ground floor has a queen bedroom, two bedrooms each with a single bunk-bed unit, and a double bedroom. Bedrooms 3, 5 and 6 have built-in wardrobes. Linen is provided.

Facilities include wireless internet, air conditioning, a washer, an iron, a television, a DVD player and an indoor fireplace. Firewood is provided from May to October. Free off-street parking accommodates four vehicles; the garage is not available to guests. Children aged 2–12 and infants under two are welcome. Smoke alarms are installed. The home is professionally managed by Great Ocean Road Holidays with local 24/7 support.

Fairhaven Beach is 1.7 km away, and Aireys Inlet Lighthouse and Lorne are a short drive away.
