The house

The ground-floor apartment has two bedrooms, each with a double bed and bedlinen, and one bathroom with a toilet and shower. The naturally lit living room has a sofa and TV. A fully equipped kitchenette includes an electric cooker, microwave, coffee machine, cooking utensils and dining table. Heating, a hair dryer, towels and toiletries are provided. Guests have access to the entire home, which is professionally cleaned before and after stays.

Wi-Fi, a laptop-friendly workspace and paid street parking are available. Starter supplies for the first days include shower gel, shampoo, soap, toilet paper, kitchen roll, a sponge, dishwashing products and a bin bag. Optional services include luggage storage, a private driver, children's equipment and activities. GuestReady manages the property and offers assistance 24/7.

Fontainhas has traditional restaurants, antique and second-hand shops and river viewpoints. Ponte do Infante and Praça dos Poveiros are each 300 m away. São Bento station is a 10-minute walk away; the upper level of the D. Luís bridge, the cathedral and Aliados Avenue are within a 10-minute walk. The neighbourhood hosts St. John festivities in June, including fireworks on June 23.

Access involves several street stairs and steep or challenging steps, which may be difficult with heavy luggage. Some areas have low ceilings and may be less comfortable for very tall guests.
