House rules

Maximum occupancy is six guests. The primary renter must be at least 30 years old. Smoking is not allowed. Reservations require approval before confirmation. Utility fees are included, but guests are responsible for excessive utility usage. One end-of-stay cleaning is included; stays longer than seven nights require one cleaning per week at the guest's expense. Events, commercial activities, other non-traditional uses and rotating groups during a stay require prior written host approval; additional fees or an increased security deposit may apply. A refundable cash security deposit of $1,000 is required, governed by a separate agreement signed by owner and guest before check-in. Balance payments by credit card are capped at $3,500; amounts over $3,500 must be paid by check, ACH or wire. Payments are non-refundable unless otherwise stated. If the owner elects to reopen cancelled dates and Marquis rebooks the original dates at the same or a higher price, a refund less a 20% penalty on the total reservation amount is issued after full payment for the replacement booking. If no replacement reservation is made, guests may use their original dates provided scheduled payments have been made and Marquis receives written notice at least 72 hours before the reservation starts. The owner may show the property to prospective renters or buyers, with efforts to provide advance notice and schedule reasonable daytime showings.

Getting there

The backyard is not fenced. Ponquogue Beach, Meschutt Beach and Tiana Town Beach are nearby. Outside Memorial Day to Labor Day, inquire before booking about outdoor furniture and equipment availability; spring cleaning and updates typically take place in late April or early May.
