The house

The approximately 7,500-square-foot home has an open layout with a double-height living room, extensive glass walls, a den, an ocean-facing office and library, an eat-in chef's kitchen and a dining area seating 16. The wet bar seats six, and the movie theater seats 10.

Four bedrooms are on the second floor of the main house: two king rooms, one room with two twin beds and one queen room. Each has air conditioning, a full ensuite bathroom, a TV and a closet; Bedroom 1 also has a balcony/deck. A fifth bedroom in the pool house is on the first/main floor and has a queen bed, air conditioning and a full ensuite bathroom.

The landscaped grounds include porches, patios, a 50-foot gunite lap pool and an ocean-facing spa seating 10. A secluded private ocean beach with 110 feet of frontage is directly in front of the home. A separate two-car garage, outdoor shower and surfboards are included. Other facilities include Wi-Fi, heating, a washer and dryer, microwave, outdoor grill, bed linens, bath and pool/beach towels, a hair dryer and an iron/ironing board.

The property is on Old Montauk Highway, one mile from the center of Montauk Village. Gurney's Inn is within walking distance for its spa and dining. The homeowner handles on-the-ground operations and guest communication after booking confirmation.
