House rules
The primary renter must be at least 30 years old. Smoking is not allowed. Additional guests and events require express approval. Events, commercial activities, rotating groups and other non-traditional uses require prior written host approval; additional fees and/or an increased security deposit may apply. Reservations require approval before confirmation. For stays longer than seven nights, one cleaning per week is mandatory at the guest's expense. Utilities are included, but guests are responsible for excessive usage, defined as utility costs over $120.00 per night of the reservation. Outside Memorial Day to Labor Day, inquire before booking about outdoor furniture and equipment availability. The owner may need to show the property to prospective renters or buyers, with advance notice and efforts to schedule reasonable daytime hours. Unless otherwise stated, payments are non-refundable. If the owner elects to reopen cancelled dates and Marquis rebooks the original dates at the same or a higher price, a refund less 20% of the total reservation amount is issued after full payment for the replacement booking. If the dates are not rebooked, the original guest may use them if scheduled payments are satisfied and Marquis receives written notice at least 72 hours before arrival. Credit-card balance payments are capped at $3,500; payments over $3,500 must be by check, ACH or wire. In lieu of a security deposit, the property includes up to $25,000 of damage protection, subject to the booking agreement.
Getting there
Water access is a short walk down the street. The home has accommodation on the main floor, second floor and lower level and is not handicap accessible. It is not suitable for unrelated guests.
Check dates and price before continuing with the host. A check does not reserve your stay. Confirm the terms with the host at staymarquis.com.
