House rules

The primary renter must be at least 30 years old. Smoking is not allowed. Maximum occupancy is six; additional guests require express approval. Events require express approval. Events, commercial activities, other non-traditional uses and rotating guest groups require prior written host approval; additional fees and/or an increased security deposit may apply. One hypoallergenic, non-shedding dog of 25 lbs or less is permitted for $500.00 per booking. Other dogs, multiple dogs and other pets require express approval. Utilities are included, but guests are responsible for excessive usage, defined as utility costs exceeding $100.00 per night of the reservation. For stays longer than seven nights, one cleaning per week is mandatory at the guest's expense. Payments are non-refundable unless otherwise stated. On cancellation, Marquis will use best efforts to work with the owner to reopen the dates, at the owner's discretion. If the original dates are rebooked at the same or higher price, a refund less a penalty of 20% of the total reservation amount is issued after the replacement reservation is paid in full. If not rebooked, guests may still use their original dates provided scheduled payments are met and Marquis receives written notice at least 72 hours before arrival. Credit-card balance payments are capped at $3,500; payments above $3,500 must be by check, ACH or wire. In place of a security deposit, the property has up to $25,000 of damage protection, with coverage details in the booking agreement. The owner may arrange showings to prospective renters or buyers, with advance notice and efforts to use reasonable daytime hours.

Getting there

The property is not handicap accessible. The primary bedroom is on the main floor; two bedrooms are upstairs and an additional full bathroom is on the lower level. Nearby beaches include Main Beach, Georgica Beach, Wiborg Beach, Eqypt Beach and Two Mile Hollow Beach. The backyard is not fenced. Outside Memorial Day to Labor Day, inquire before booking about outdoor furniture, equipment and pool availability; seasonal cleaning and updates typically occur in late April or early May.
