House rules

The primary renter must be at least 25 years old. No additional people beyond the maximum occupancy of six are permitted. Smoking is not allowed. Events are prohibited. Reservations involving events, commercial activities, other non-traditional uses or rotating guest groups require prior written host approval; additional fees and/or an increased security deposit may apply. Reservations require approval before confirmation. Utilities are included, but guests are responsible for excessive usage, defined as utility costs over $95.00 per night of the reservation. One end-of-stay cleaning is included. For stays longer than seven nights, one cleaning per week is mandatory at the guest's expense. Payments are non-refundable unless otherwise stated. If cancellation dates are reopened at the owner's discretion and rebooked for the original dates at the same or a higher price, a refund less a 20% penalty on the total reservation amount is issued after full payment for the replacement reservation. If no replacement reservation is made, use of the original dates remains possible if scheduled payments are made and Marquis receives written notice at least 72 hours before the reservation begins. Credit-card balance payments are capped at $3,500; larger payments must be by check, ACH or wire. Instead of a security deposit, the property includes up to $25,000 of damage protection, with coverage details in the booking agreement. The owner may arrange showings to prospective renters or buyers, with advance notice and efforts to schedule reasonable daytime hours.

Getting there

The coast is minutes away. The home is not handicap accessible and is not suitable for children aged four and under. Outdoor furniture and equipment availability outside Memorial Day to Labor Day should be checked before booking; spring cleaning and updates typically occur in late April or early May.
