House rules
No loud noise between 10 pm and 8 am, parties, antisocial behaviour or smoking. Additional people and pets require prior approval. Approved pet stays incur an additional cleaning fee of $200. Do not wear shoes inside, and report any breakages. A breach of house rules may lead to a $500 fine, compensation for costs or damage, and immediate eviction without refund. Mandatory post-booking ID verification must be completed before check-in details are released. Key collection is on-site; arrival details are provided three days before check-in for successfully reserved bookings, subject to successful ID verification. Early check-in and late check-out are subject to availability from the night before and additional charges; guaranteed early or late access requires booking the preceding or additional night, if available. Unattended baggage cannot be received or stored before check-in or after check-out. At departure, leave beds unmade, clean and put away dishes, return moved furniture to its original position, take rubbish to the correct bins, turn off appliances, air conditioning and lights, close doors and windows, and check for belongings. Return of found items within Australia is subject to postage and service fees; retrieval is not guaranteed. Free cancellation is offered up to 48 hours before check-in, subject to conditions. Travel Support coverage for lost baggage and emergency medical expenses has a claim limit of 500 AUD, subject to terms and conditions.
Getting there
The garden spa is unavailable for guest use. Insects such as spiders and cockroaches may occasionally be encountered year-round. Local buses connect North Balgowlah with surrounding areas and the Northern Beaches. North Sydney Station is approximately an 11-minute drive, Martin Place Station a 14-minute drive, and Sydney Kingsford Smith Airport a 40–42-minute drive, depending on traffic. Garigal National Park is 1.6 km away, Middle Harbour and Port Jackson Bay are each 2.0 km away, Harbour View Reserve is 2.3 km away, and the Spit Bridge to Manly Walk is 2.7 km away.
