House rules
Maximum occupancy is eight; no additional persons are permitted. The primary renter must be at least 28 years old. Pets and smoking are prohibited. Events are prohibited. Reservations involving events, commercial activities, other non-traditional uses or rotating guest groups require prior written host approval and may incur additional fees or an increased security deposit. Utilities are included, but guests are responsible for excessive usage. For reservations longer than seven nights, one cleaning per week is mandatory at the guest's expense. Reservations require approval before confirmation. Unless otherwise stated, payments are non-refundable. If the owner agrees to reopen cancelled dates and the property is rebooked for the original dates at the same or a higher price, a refund less a penalty of 20% of the total reservation amount is issued after full payment for the replacement reservation is collected. If it is not rebooked, guests may use their original dates provided payments meet the agreed schedule and Marquis receives written notice at least 72 hours before the reservation starts. Balance payments by credit card are capped at $3,500; larger payments must be by check, ACH or wire. In lieu of a security deposit, the property has up to $25,000 of damage protection, subject to the booking agreement. The owner may show the property to prospective renters or buyers, with advance notice and efforts to schedule during reasonable daytime hours.
Getting there
The home is not handicap accessible. Two bedrooms are upstairs. Outdoor furniture and equipment may be unavailable outside Memorial Day to Labor Day; inquire before booking an off-season stay.
Check dates and price before continuing with the host. A check does not reserve your stay. Confirm the terms with the host at staymarquis.com.
