House rules
Maximum occupancy is 10. The primary renter must be at least 25 years old. Pets and smoking are prohibited. Events of any size, commercial activities, other non-traditional uses and rotating guest groups require prior written host approval; additional fees and/or an increased security deposit may apply. Utilities are included, but guests are responsible for excessive usage, defined as utility costs over $86.00 per reservation night. For stays longer than seven nights, one cleaning per week is mandatory at the guest's expense. Payments are non-refundable unless otherwise stated. On cancellation, Marquis will use best efforts to work with the owner to reopen the dates, at the owner's discretion. If the original dates are rebooked at the same or a higher price and full replacement payment is collected, a refund less a penalty of 20% of the total reservation amount is issued. If no replacement reservation is made, guests may use the original dates provided scheduled payments have been made and Marquis receives written notice at least 72 hours before arrival. Credit-card balance payments are capped at $3,500; larger payments must be by check, ACH or wire. In lieu of a security deposit, the property has up to $25,000 of damage protection, subject to the booking agreement. The owner may need to show the home to prospective renters or buyers; advance notice and reasonable daytime scheduling will be sought.
Getting there
Montauk town, beaches and state parks are minutes away. The property does not provide beach access. It is not wheelchair accessible. Outside Memorial Day to Labor Day, inquire before booking about pool, hot tub, outdoor furniture and equipment availability. Spring cleaning and updates typically take place in late April or early May.
Check dates and price before continuing with the host. A check does not reserve your stay. Confirm the terms with the host at staymarquis.com.
